CROCOSMIA---lucifer

There are 7 species of this clump forming perennial. Full hardy to frost hardy and robust. for me the red is the most stunning of the colours. Flowers and grasslike foliage can be used for cut flowers. When planting corms best put them to the back of the fencing or garden wall. Grows to a height of 3 to 4 feet tall. Plants love rich humus and moist soil. Sun or partial shade. Propagation ----sow seed or divide clumps in the Autum. I usually divide the clumps in Autum.

We grow in our small 60"x25 ( it has a Garage and a shed to partially fill it) all the stuff you have in yours. We grow Tayberries instead of Raspberries and have four minerettes 2' apart so we are a bit pushed for space, so we have only a small lawn and a 200 gal pond. The rain helped this year, as we live on top of a hill(part of the north London ridge, apparently a termimal moraine) and I have added lots of soil conditioner to make it porous. It is you who wants some gardener's friend cherry tomato seed, I was given some different Italian breeds by an Italian friend
