Hi folks, Dec. 06 update .

Weather has been aweful. we have had nothing but RAIN! RAIN! and RAIN! more wind this year than last year.
I have planted 8 canes of Autum Raspberries. 3 Blackcurrant bushes and a Grapevine.
I have managed to put a path in,out of wood chippings. now I can walk by the allotment without stepping on mud.

In my home veg. patch I have planted spring cabbage and are doing very well.
Broadbeans, planted in late Autum now are 6 inches tall and looking very healthy. they are relatively disease free.
planted some broccli seeds for planting out in late spring. all doing very well in a cold greenhouse. I think they are pretty hardy.

NEXT UPDATE IN JAN.07

Philomena,

Thanks for the positive feed back on my organic gardening blog. I will be checking back on your progress, love the pics. Keep them coming. We are having snow here right now, quite cold. I have a cold greenhouse as well.

Organic is definitely the way to go for your health and especially for anyone with health concerns. Not only food but the personal care products you use as well. It is all absorbed through your skin and sucked down into your blood stream. It's scary some of the chemicals we spread on our skin on a daily basis.

Check out my site at http://www.personallyorganic.com and check out some of the organic products available. Scroll down the page until you come across a product called MiVitality - In-Liven. This is a Probiotic Super Food that is certified organic that provides a broad spectrum of living nutrients from organic living whole foods. I have heard amazing testimonials to this product and it is a personal favorite of mine.

And new on the market, so new I haven't had a chance to get it represented on my web site yet is Fast-Tract. It is the world's first certified organic, gluten free, probiotic liquid. The probiotic bacteria in this product is immediately available and while In-Liven (the powder form) contains approximately 40 million colony-forming units per gram the liquid formula achieves more that 265 million colony-forming units per millilitre.

Using these two products together is a fast track to intestinal health.

Check it out since I know you are serious about your husbands health. Let me know if you would like further information. I love this product.

Are you an experienced organic gardener? I am a worm farmer and have a wealth of information available on my web sites and blog. I have a worm bin composting blog at http://wormbincomposting.blogspot.com. I am currently writing an e-book on how to worm bin compost. I also have a free e-course. You should check it out. I've recieved positive comments on both of them as well. To your gardening success.

Well done for not being put off by all those brambles and weeds! We were so lucky to take over a well tendered plot! Good luck for the season :-)
